North Yorkshire Student Awarded Lloyds TSB Prize

Katherine Hutchinson, of East Rounton, Northallerton, has been awarded the The Lloyds TSB Prize for the best overall mark achieved by a BA (Honours) Business Management student.Katherine, 22, a student at Harper Adams University College, was awarded the prize after producing a dissertation entitled: ‘How can a farm business meet consumer demand for local produce in the current market environment, with particular reference to farm retailing?’
Katherine was awarded the prize at the University College’s annual graduation ceremony last month, where she also collected a First Class BA Honours Degree in Business Enterprise.
The former Northallerton College student is planning a trip to Australia, and on her return hopes to work in rural business with a long term aspiration to set up her own company.
